1949 Dodge Coronet 4dr Sedan finished in Black paint. Paint shows its age with imperfections throughout, get in and drive it! This car is powered by the 230 Inline 6 that is paired with a Gyro-Matic transmission. Gyromatic transmission is set up like a manual on the column but with a twist, away from you and back is Reverse, while towards you and down is High and towards you and up is Low. You can let off the clutch, when in gear, and drive it just like an automatic! Riding on white wall radial tires with Dodge center caps. The interior has been reupholstered along the line to the red cloth bench seat you see today. Dash and headliner remaining stock. Headliner does have some staining up front. 1949 was the first production year of the Coronet nameplate! This car is still powered by the 6 volt system, has had a new 8V battery installed recently. Some things the technicians noted looking over this vehicle was that the wipers and fuel gauge are both inop. Oil pressure gauge and blower fan both in working order. Hood release is located under the dash as well. Stock sounding Dodge Coronet!
